The Specimen

“I don’t think this is the correct specimen.”
“It has four legs and short, white fur with black spots. It fits the requirements. It must be a cow.”
“But, Commander, it isn’t making the correct sound.”
“It is just a variety that our scouts have not documented. The substance called milk that this creature produces could be highly beneficial to our planet.” The commander pointed at the animal. “It’s generating liquid! Collect a sample. Try drinking it as earth people do.”
Melkonk held a container under the Dalmatian’s lifted leg. “Commander, you can have the honor of trying it first.”
