Alyssa Beatty lives and writes in Brooklyn, NY. When she is not trying unsuccessfully to keep her cats off the kitchen counter, she writes science fiction and fantasy short stories on the themes of memory, loss and regret. She is currently at work on her first novel. Her work can be found or is forthcoming in Spread: Tales of Deadly Flora, Flash Fiction Magazine, Suddenly, and Without Warning, and Penumbric Speculative Fiction.
The on-going mission of Luna Station Quarterly is to display the vast and varied talents of female-identified speculative fiction writers. We believe that women have a unique and universal voice in fiction and we aim to get it heard.
