Kemi Ashing-Giwa is the USA Today bestselling author of The Splinter in the Sky. Her short fiction has appeared on or in Tor.com, Anathema: Spec from the Margins, and Kaleidotrope. She studied integrative biology and astrophysics at Harvard, and is now pursuing a PhD in Earth & Planetary Sciences at Stanford.
Tali was born and raised in California and currently lives in the Bay Area. Her love of writing began in kindergarten, where she met Kemi and became fast friends and writing partners. Her other interests include animal rights and mental health awareness.

The on-going mission of Luna Station Quarterly is to display the vast and varied talents of female-identified
speculative fiction writers. We believe that women have a unique and universal voice in fiction and we aim to get
it heard.
