Originally from Italy, Alessia Galatini moved to London in 2014, where she graduated with a 1st class BA in Creative Writing and is currently studying for an MA in Screenwriting.
Her poetry and prose have been published in the online magazine “Ink, Sweat and Tears” and in the print anthologies “Just Met 2017” and “Anthology II”. Her short film scripts have been shortlisted for the 2018 Film in Cork Scheme and the 50/50 London Eastside Scheme. Last year she won the Sandra Ashman prize for fiction.
She likes to write the stories she’s want to read (duh) and she’s particularly keen on female-driven LGBT stories which aim to do something fresh and turn tropes up their heads.
