She is an author and artist as well as a yoga and mindfulness teacher. Her poems have appeared in everything from international magazines to neighborhood poetry boxes to banquet performances; her essays and fiction have landed in short story collections, kindergarten classrooms, self-help books, and horror anthologies. A nature lover, she recently served as creative resident for North Cascades Environmental Learning Center.
