Josie Turner

Josie Turner lives in a small town outside London, and works for the National Health Service. She has had fiction and poetry published in a range of journals including The North, Crack the Spine, The Fractured Nuance, and has a story forthcoming in Emrys Journal.

She often writes about the landscape and communities of Tenerife, one of the Canary Islands.

In 2015 she was a joint winner of The Plough short story competition, and in 2016 she was placed third in the Words with Jam short story competition.

The characters in Sycamore Heights are fictional, but the events are not entirely so.
