Luna Station Press had a great time this past Saturday. We had a table at the Free Comic Book Day event at Time Warp Comics & Games in Cedar Grove, NJ.
I was lucky enough to have Erin DeMoss (our LSQ cover artist) and C. Elizabeth Vescio (one of LSP’s star authors) with me. Look at those lovely faces! They traveled all the way out from Oklahoma City and Las Vegas, respectively. We had a great visit and they represented LSP, and their own work, with the fun and spirit that I knew they would bring to the table.
We handed out plenty of bookmarks and sold a couple books. We met lots of people and had some great conversations, I even got a visit from one of my old high school English teachers. Always great to hear that someone from your past is proud of the work you’ve done.
We were also interviewed for Big Kev’s Geek Stuff podcast, a real treat. The episode is already online and you can hear Erin and I interviewed starting at the 50:00 mark.
I’m so glad we did it and I’m grateful to Dave and the staff at Time Warp for helping us make the outing a success.
And yes, I did indeed get a whole massive bag of free comic books.
